Sycamore Township Fire Department

This professional fire department was organized in October of 1995. Prior to that time fire protection was provided by a private organization - the Montgomery Community Fire Company (MCFC). Today the department operates out of two stations amd protects this suburban area 10 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati. The township is split into a southern section protected by Station 92 and northern section protected by Station 93. Blue Ash and Montgomery are in between the two sections. The township is primarily residential with some commercial, and is a retail destination with many properties including the Kenwood Towne Center.

News/Updates:

04/18 - A new E-One pumper truck was received for Engine 92. The 2009 Seagrave was reassigned to Engine 93 and the 1999 Seagrave operated by Engine 93 was reasssigned to Engine 292.

09/09 - The new Station 93 is now operational.

06/09 - The new Seagrave pumper truck is now in, and a facility is under construction for Station 93.

11//08 - Sycamore currently has a new Seagrave pumper truck on order with a mid 2009 delivery date.

04//08 - L92 is now in service, and Q92 is now running as a reserve apparatus.

03/08 - The new Seagrave for L92 has arrived and is in the process of being outfitted.

07/07 - Sycamore currently has a new Seagrave aerial truck on order with delivery late Fall, 2007. Q93 has been retired and Q92 is now running as L92.
