Future / New Deliveries Update 2023 /2024-
Cincinnati - Four new E-One Typhoon pumper trucks have been placed into service this year, and they have been assigned to Engines 2, 19, 32 & 51.
Engine 2's previous apparatus, a 2018 Rosenbauer, has been reassigned to Engine 8.
Engine 19's previous apparatus, a 2017 Rosenbauer, has been reassigned to Engine 34.
Truck 29 placed a new E-One Typhoon 110' rear-mount aerial into service in January of 2024.
Medic 23 received a new Ford / Horton ambulance in May.
Colerain Township - Placed an order with E-One for a pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Deerfield Township - Has an order in with Ferrara for a new heavy rescue for Rescue 57..
Fairfield (City) - Two apparatuis on order with E-One, a pumper truck on a Cyclone II chassis, and a 100' aerial quint on a Typhoon chassis. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Forest Park - Placed an order with Pierce for a new Enforcer pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Glendale - Placed an order for a new E-One Typhoon pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Green Township - Placed an order for a new E-One Cyclone II pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Little Miami - Placed an order for a new E-One Cyclone II pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Mason - Placed an order for a new E-One 100' quint for Ladder 52.
Reading - Placed an order for a new E-One Typhoon pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
St. Bernard - Placed an order for a new E-One Cyclone II pumper truck. Delivery 2025 (or later).
Sharonville - Placed an order for a new E-One 78' aerial on a Cyclone II chassis for Quint 88.
Springdale - Placed an order for a new E-One aerial tower quint on a Typhoone chassis for Tower 90.
Woodlawn - Placed an order for a new E-One 110' aerial quint on a Cyclone II chassis.

07/27/24 - Cincinnati placed into service a new Ford / Horton ambulance with Medic 23. The Station 23 page has been updated with the new arrival.
07/20/24 - Two new E-One Typhoon pumper trucks went into service with Engine 32 in June and Engine 51 in May. The Station 32 and Station 51 pages have been updated with the new arrivals.
07/06/24 - Updated the Cincinnati Station 19 page with the new E-One Typhoon pumper truck placed into service with Engine 19 in May. With the new arrival, their previous apparatus, a 2017 Rosenbauer Commander has been reassigned to Engine 34. The Station 34 page has been updated with the change.
07/02/24 - Updated the Cincinnati Station 2 page with the new E-One Typhoon pumper truck received for Engine 2. With the new arrival, their previous apparatus, a 2018 Rosenbauer Commander has been reassigned to Engine 8. The Station 8 page has been updated with the change.
02/09/24 - Updated the Cincinnati Station 29 page with the new E-One Typhoon 110' aerial placed into service with Ladder 29.
08/30/23 - Updated the Cincinnati Station 23 page with the new E-One Typhoon 110' aerial placed into service with Ladder 23.
06/17/23 - The Training Bureau page has been updated for several new additions. Cincinnati purchased a 2005 HME / Rosenbauer pumper truck from Anderson Township and three new Ford Transit vans were also purchased. The vans are used to transport the recruit class between locations or for any other department transportation needs.
05/12/23 - With the arrival of the new 2023 E-One for Engine 24 their previous apparatus, a 2017 Rosenbauer Commander, has been reassigned to Engine 46 in Hyde Park. The Station 46 page has been updated with the change in assignment.
04/15/23 - Updated the Cincinnati Station 24 page with the new E-One Typhoon pumper truck placed into service with Engine 24. It is the first engine or truck to be equipped with a Federal Q in a very long time, although the two Cincinnati heavy rescues have had Q sirens for a few years now.
03/11/23 - Updated the Cincinnati Station 46 page with the new Ford / Horton ambulance placed into service with
Medic 46. It is the third ambulance to be delivered in the new red color scheme.
12/23/22 - Updated Norwood with the 2022 Seagrave Capitol placed into service with Engine 82. Also, general department update with all of the new ambulances and staff cars acquired in the past couple of years.
12/20/22 - Updated Blue Ash with a couple of new command vehicles placed into service this year - a Ford F-150 with District 13, and a Chevrolet Tahoe with Car 1301 - Fire Chief.
11/15/22 - Cincinnati established a new company on Nov 4, 2022 as Engine 235, and renumbered to Engine 1 on Nov 13, 2022. The new company is located at Station 35 and was implemented to help with run volume at the station. Engine 1 is using a 2003 E-One pumper truck that was previously assigned to Engine 31.
10/23/22 - Cincinnati acquired a 2011 Chevrolet / Super-Vac / Summit ventilation unit from the Point Pleasant Fire District in Northern Kentucky. It has been assigned to Station 21 as Ventilation 21. The Station 21 page has been updated with the new arrival.
08/17/22 - A pair of new Ford / Horton ambulances were put into service with Medic 9 and Medic 12. They are the first Cincinnati ambulances to be painted solid red since the late 1980's. The Station 9 and Station 12 pages along with the medic roster page have been updated for the new units.
07/18/22 - Updated Cincinnati Station 18 with the 2005 Rosenbauer Panther recently placed into service with Crash Rescue 218. The unit was acquired from the Cincinnati / NKY Int'l Airport (CVG) Fire Department.
05/07/22 - The latest version of "A Guide To Cincinnati Fire Apparatus" has been released. Description and link to purchase is under the adjacent book cover.
12/16/21 - Updated Madeira / Indian Hill with new Ford / Horton ambulance placed into service with Medic 65 and the Ford F-450 / CET for Support 65. Also added a photo of the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe for Car 6401 and updated several other apparatus / staff cars.
11/14/21 - The two new E-One Typhoon pumper trucks have been placed into service with Cincinnati Engine 20 and Engine 35. Engine 35's previous apparatus, a 2020 E-One has been reassigned to Engine 21. The Station 20, 21 and 35 pages have been updated with the unit changes.
08/05/21 - Updated Miami Township in Hamilton County with the 2018 Sutphen assigned to Engine 68 and the three 2019 Ford / Braiun ambulances assigned to Medic 68, Medic 69 and Medic 70.
03/28/21 - Cincinnati has placed a new E-One Typhoon rear-mount aerial in service with Ladder 17. The Station 17 and active apparatus pages have been updated wtih the new arrival. Also updated the active apparatus page with a timeline of purchases by manufacturer / chassis.
03/20/21 - Cincinnati purchased a new Ford F-350 in May of 2020 for the Fuel Truck and assigned it to Station 38. The previous fuel truck, a 1998 Chevrolet 3500 was located at Station 12. The fuel truck responds to incidents / events for refueling apparatus that are operating for extended periods of time. Also updated the Training Bureau page for the 2012 Ford F-550 / Summit acquired from Sharonville (OH) for use as a utility / support vehicle. The vehicle previously ran as Sharonville Chemical 86.

02/19/21 - Updated Woodlawn with the 2017 / 2018 purchases. A pair of 2017 Ford / Medix ambulances for Medic 96 and Medic 296, a 2018 Ford F-250 for Brush 96 and a pair of 2018 Chevrolet Tahoes for Car 9601 / Car 9602.
02/12/21 - Large update of Sycamore Township, added the 2018 E-One assigned to Engine 92 and subsequent reassignments. Also added the 2018 Ford / Horton ambulance for Medic 92 and several staff / support vehicles.
02/05/21 - General update of Blue Ash Station 13 and Station 15. Added the 2019 Freightliner / Pierce assigned to Engine 213 along with several medic units and command / support vehicles.
01/31/21 - Updated Montgomery with the 2020 Ford F-250 purchased for Support 73 and the 2019 Ford Expedition Max for Chief 7301. Both vehicles are in the new black over red paint scheme for Montgomery.
01/29/21 - Updated Cincinnati Stations 34, 35, 37, 46, 49, 50 and 51 for new or reassigned apparatus. Also updated the Training Bureau page for some apparatus changes.
01/22/21 - Updated Cincinnati Stations 19, 20, 24, 29, 31 and 32 for new or reassigned apparatus.
01/15/21 - Updated Cincinnati Stations 9, 12, 14, 17 and 18 for new or reassigned apparatus.
01/10/21 - The site has been on hiatus while I have been working on books and other projects. In the coming weeks there will be a significant amount of site updates and revisions. Cincinnati Stations 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8 have been updated with new and/or reassigned apparatus. The Cincinnati apparatus roster page is now also current for new / reassigned apparatus.
